Duffy Books in Homes - Role Model Assembly

Mary is a storyteller and children’s writer who lives in the Hawke’s Bay with her husband and co-performer Peter Charlton-Jones. They hold an annual music festival, record music, hold workshops and performances at their property, Te Rangi.

Mary and Peter came to our school for our Duffy Role Model Assembly. As part of the assembly we got given two free books. The Alan Duff Charitable Foundation, better known as Duffy Books in Homes, is proud to provide free books to over 100,000 New Zealand children, three times a year.
